WTE Cards

With write that essay cards we had to make a story with 3 random cards we had actions characters and a scene. I had a dog as the character swimmings as the action and waterfall as the scene.

I hear the sound of fresh running water and I run immediately in that direction. I crash through bushes and shrubs , my tummy grumbling the whole way. There it is , the plumpest duck I have ever seen in my short dog life. I lick my lips and start creeping towards it. “Splash!” I have the duck in my jaws. I break the ducks neck so it doesn’t feel pain. Wait a minute. I’m heading down a stream! Oh no! I must have not checked how deep he river wa before jumping in it! That sound! It is the of water falling hundreds of meters downwards! Then I see it, the end of the river and the start of the waterfall. My legs began kicking frantically but the current was to strong.

GisInt Orientation Day

On Tuesday we went to Gisint, we first went into the hall and got a letter each. The Principal told us about it and we went into some classes, we had Matua Dillan and we chose who we want to be in a class with. Then we got a free fizzy drink and a ice block. we had morning tea and had a look around. then we went back in the hall and had another talk, after we had lunch. Then we got into our togs and waited for the fun to begin. first we went to throwing spunges at the teachers but we also got sprayed by a hose. Then we went to the tug of war and lots of people were doing it, it was amazing. But the funnest of all was the fire hose two people were spraying us with a hose we were absotuly drenched in water but it was woth it. Over all I think this was an amazing experience and I hope I get to have something like it again.

My Letter To Mrs Nicoll

(06) 867-5779 14/10/2020
120 King Road, Hexton. Gmail: kk@makauri.school.nz

 Dear Mrs Nicoll,

This is a dreadful problem, Birds are all over the place at school we need to stop them pooping on our bags. So we need your permission to get a school cat, when we had the ginger cat we could see a difference so why not? We will fundraise to get one and make sure it is good and getting birds.

These birds go in our bags and get them all dirty. We know that you're an awesome principal. Do you want your students to have to get new bags ? Well a cat would solve it all.

 Yours,

Sincerely. From Kenji Kato-Golding
